UM6P President sharing the findings of the "1.5 Million Leaders" Study
On the sidelines of The Voice of Africa UM6P side events, the President Mr. Hicham El Habti shared with the members of the community the findings of the "1.5 Million Leaders" Study.
1.5 Million Leaders, is a new research study from UM6P, comparing the views of African university representatives and global corporate leaders to identify the role African talent could play in solving the global talent shortage, and what global challenges can be tackled if corporates expand their hiring pool to include African graduates. This study was based on opinion research among 300 senior leaders in global corporations and 150 representatives from African universities.
To highlight a few key findings, the study revealed that 64% of senior corporate leaders believe their organization is facing a critical talent shortage. Also, 77% of university representatives believe African start-ups are the solution to nurturing African talent and driving entrepreneurship in the continent.
