UM6P took part in the 11th annual summit of the Africa CEO Forum

 

On May 16th and 17th, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic participated in the Africa CEO Forum 2024 in Kigali, Rwanda. The event brought together over 2000 business leaders, investors, and policymakers from Africa and the world, around the following  theme "AT THE TABLE OR ON THE MENU? A CRITICAL MOMENT TO SHAPE A NEW FUTURE FOR AFRICA," highlighted the role of the private sector in Africa's development.

UM6P President Hicham El Habti took part in the Gen Alpha panel, focusing on educating Generation Alpha and the impact of technology. The discussion explored how stakeholders could ensure African youth benefited from technological advancements. Key topics of this year’s edition included digital inclusion, access to technology, AI-powered teacher support, and resilient food systems.

UM6P and OCP Africa were represented by a booth at the event, showcasing their institutional brands and university components, with representatives from INNOVX. The presence of African heads of state and leaders from various sectors underscored the event's political and economic significance.
