The 37th Arab Fertilizer Association technical conference & exhibition gathered global stakeholders at UM6P

From the 16^th to the 18^th of September, UM6P and OCP Group, in collaboration with the Arab Fertilizer Association, held the 37^th Technical Conference and Exhibition under the theme “Emerging Technologies in the Fertilizer Industry: Balancing Productivity and Environmental Stewardship,” within the University’s Campus in Benguerir.

The conference gathered more than 600 participants from over 40 countries, including industry leaders, researchers, and representatives from public and private institutions. It focused on innovation across the fertilizer value chain, highlighting advances in process efficiency, digitalization, and sustainability.

The event emphasized Morocco’s role in global fertilizer production, particularly its phosphate reserves, and the importance of research and education in addressing food security challenges. UM6P and OCP Group were acknowledged by AFA for their commitment to supporting the sector and their contribution to the success of the event.
