This week, at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, the UM6P-J-PAL Agricultural Lab for Africa (UJALA), led by Lab Director Hicham El Azami, showcased its approach to addressing Africa’s agricultural challenges.

On the 14^th of November, FIRSI organized a conference at UM6P France Office in Paris featuring Claudie Haigneré, an astronaut, scientist, and former minister.

Ms. Haigneré shared her journey spanning medicine, space exploration, and political engagement. She explored connections between science, innovation, and global challenges, emphasizing the role of younger generations in shaping a sustainable future. This event aligns with FIRSI's mission to inspire and empower future talents.

On the 18^th of November, the FGSES Club de la Vie Étudiante (CVE) hosted a celebration of the 69^th anniversary of Morocco's Independence Day at the University's Campus in Rabat.

The event brought together students, professors, and staff members to honor this national milestone, reflecting on the nation's journey towards independence and its cultural legacy. The celebration featured a series of activities designed to highlight Morocco’s rich history, including performances and artistic displays.
