Nanjing forum featured UM6P’s sustainable smart cities model

From the 14th  to the 16th  of November, Professor Hassan Radoine represented University Mohammed VI Polytechnic at a Business Forum organized by the World Smart City Forum (WSCF) in Nanjing, China.

The forum aimed to bring together local stakeholders, smart city networks, and business leaders to discuss the latest advancements in smart city development. Participants showcased smart city initiatives and explored potential co-development opportunities in the Middle East and Africa.

 

FIRSI welcomed the first European woman in space at UM6P France Office

On the 14th of November, FIRSI organized a conference at UM6P France Office in Paris featuring Claudie Haigneré, an astronaut, scientist, and former minister.

Ms. Haigneré shared her journey spanning medicine, space exploration, and political engagement. She explored connections between science, innovation, and global challenges, emphasizing the role of younger generations in shaping a sustainable future. This event aligns with FIRSI's mission to inspire and empower future talents.

FGSES hosted a celebration of Morocco's 69th Independence Day

On the 18th of November, the FGSES Club de la Vie Étudiante (CVE) hosted a celebration of the 69th anniversary of Morocco's Independence Day at the University's Campus in Rabat.

The event brought together students, professors, and staff members to honor this national milestone, reflecting on the nation's journey towards independence and its cultural legacy. The celebration featured a series of activities designed to highlight Morocco’s rich history, including performances and artistic displays.
