Bayesian modeling workshop highlighted key techniques and applications
On the 19th of December, the Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS) hosted a workshop on Practical Issues in Bayesian Modelling at the UM6P Campus in Rabat.
The event gathered experts and researchers from various fields to explore the versatility of Bayesian methods. The workshop covered topics such as hierarchical modeling, discrete choice analysis, and variational Bayesian inference. Participants engaged in discussions on technical challenges, including convergence monitoring and optimization techniques.
