Students collaborated on sustainable agriculture solutions at Eco-Innovate Hackathon
On the 7th and 8th of December, the International Association of Students in Agriculture (IAAS), in collaboration with CDG Invest and 212 Founders, and with the support of Africa Business School (ABS) and Student Organization, Leadership, and Engagement (SOLE), organized the Eco-Innovate Hackathon.
The two-day event gathered 30 UM6P students who worked in teams to address environmental challenges in agriculture through innovation and creativity. Guided by expert mentors, participants developed sustainable solutions to tackle these issues.
The hackathon concluded with a pitch session, where winning teams were awarded prizes including internships with 212 Founders, invitations to CDG Invest’s Annual Event for networking, and a 3-month mentorship program to advance their projects.
