UM6P delegation participated in the 2nd phase of Africa Canarias Challenge
From the 26th to the 29th of November, a delegation from University Mohammed VI Polytechnic took part in the 2nd phase of the program “Africa Canarias Challenge”, in which UM6P is a co-partner, the first phase of which was hosted last October at StartGate within the Benguerir Campus.
This phase was attended by researchers and project leaders from UM6P and the Canary Islands universities, selected during the 1st phase to address the challenges of Water, Energy, and Health, who presented their projects to experts in these fields from UM6P and Canarian institutions.
During this program phase, UM6P representatives visited several entities from the University of La Laguna and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, working on astrophysics, marine and maritime scientific research, energy, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
A visit was also paid to the Canary Islands Institute of Technology (ITC), a public company created by the Canary Islands government to promote innovation and technological development, as well as the consolidation of a knowledge-based economy in the region.
