UM6P participated in a talk with MIT Sandbox themed “The Promise of Africa: Path from Growth to Inclusive Prosperity”

Last week, UM6P participated in a talk organized by MIT Sandbox, "The Promise of Africa: Path from Growth to Inclusive Prosperity", featuring an insightful discussion between President Mr. Hicham El Habti, and MIT Sandbox Executive Director, Ms. Jihane Abounadi.

In the presence of students, PhD candidates, and experts in various fields, fruitful exchanges were conducted on how innovation and entrepreneurship can drive sustainable development, showcasing the commitment to fostering impactful solutions for societal advancement.

The dialogue centered around leveraging Africa's youthful demographics and technological adaptability to spur economic and social growth. It also emphasized UM6P's role in nurturing a culture of innovation and its strategic initiatives including the Living Labs and Green Energy Park, which serve as platforms for real-world applications and transformative research, reflecting the University’s dedication to advancing African and global science, technology, and education.
